hi!

I'm Bert. Since 2 weeks I'm the proud owner of a 2006 SD in Titanium colour (first registration of the bike was in april 2007) with 10000kms on the clock.

The bike came with a full Akra system (not sure if it's stainless or titanium) and ECU map, Bike Design Upper frame crash protection and a LSL steering damper.

Quickly snapped some pictures today:


The previous owner thought that cleaning the bike was splashing some soapy water on the painted parts of the bike. So the last 2 weeks I've been busy actually trying to get everything clean, still have alot of work (and I don't have alot of time). Weather has been very bad anyway.


Small mods I've done already:
I replaced the engine screws with . There was one bolt missing from the kit but the seller promised to send it to me.

I've removed the passenger pegs (my wife doesn't want to ride with me) and made some simple alu brackets that use the rubbers from the foot pegs to support the side panels.

Other stuff that's on its way:

Coyotemoto lower frame crash protection. I've ordered these August 20th but these still haven't arrived...
Koso FLY mirrors (these have an aluminium arm, not plastic)
Renthal 16T front sprocket
Orange rim stickers (not sure about these, wanted to try)
DHM foot pegs (thanks weeksy!)

Other things I'd like to change:

Smaller front indicators
Smoked taillight with integrated indicators
Tail tidy
Smoked front light protector. I've e-mailed an ebay seller about this but he hasn't responded. I have seen a picture of dark (black?) one on this forum but cannot find it anymore.
Anodised reservoir covers
Fork bobbins and swing arm bobbins (not sure if I'll get these from coyotemoto too...)
Levers
Carbon stuff...

So, that's about it.

I also wanted to thank everyone that participates in this forum. I've learnt alot these last 2 weeks.
