...count me in. Picked up an 05 on Saturday (in yes, the faster BLACK) and wish I had gotten it years ago when it showed up! Been sitting on the dealer floor here forever, some registration nonsense due to unsupported import. They finally reg'd it and dropped the price, that was enough for me. I spent almost 6 hours riding on Sunday. What a ball.

Just came from an 07 FZ1, thought about wrenching it into a nekkid screamer but so missed the v-twim lump and stump pulling torque that I had to make a change...plus, I think the FZ was the most boring bike I ever owned.

Spend a lot of time in the saddle, typically 12k mi/yr+ depending on how badly I want to ride outside of day-to-day commute This week kinda sux with the rain and 100mi round trip every day.

Saw someone from SF, others familiar with the north coast...I grew up in Eureka as well, left in '91. 36 is a blast!
