Hi chaps,

Just a quick note to say hello again and explain. When we thought this forum was going to the wall on the last day that anybody could get on, I was one of the lucky ones that could just about get on and post anything.

Klinck couldn't get on and with most in a bit of panic I managed to log in and get a backup of the forum using Klincks login details. As we didn't know what the problem was at this stage it seemed sensible to get this done and for me to be made a moderator just in case we eventually had to port the site over to a new url or whatever.

Whilst the site was down we worked out between us and a few more knowledgable techies what the issues were and why it was down not really knowing if the forum was still intact, obviously now we know everything was fine and my backup wasn't required.

Anyhow with the departure of Dutch and Jody as moderators it seems like there was room for another as Klinck and Bert do 90% of the moderating. In the process of changing to moderator I have also shortened my username from brokenleggedbiker to blb as it was a PITA to enter each time I log on and most of my good friends on here refer to me as blb anyway..

Been on here for 4 years, have plenty of knowledge of SD's after owning two and doing some of the mods. Know about the common issues etc. I now have an rc8 as a trackbike and I'm a salesman for a Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha dealer in Southwest UK. (not fowlups!)

As anyone who has met me at crashfest will tell you I'm a quiet bloke who doesn't say a lot but damn I love KTM's and I would rather spoon my eyeballs out than frequent any other forum. Superduke.net is the ONLY worthy forum for this epic bike and many many epic people.
