Just bought a 2007 Super Duke Black and it's stock other than Yoshi Slip on's. Love it , the grunt, the flickability and the bad boy vibe. Other rides include a Specialized Big Hit 2 mountain bike, 2011 690 Enduro R for the logging roads and animal trails, and a 2005 VFR 800 for touring through Montana and BC. The SD has a sensitive throttle that I appreciate but it's got some surging at low rpm. I would like to know from other members what are the biggest bang for the buck mods to undertake. My main interest is improving driveability . Secondary objective is to improve performance. Removing any bits that were installed to meet pollution or noise standards but impede performance would also be objectives. Please advise. Thanks!

Thanks KTM GUY. Glad to be here. Just changed the oil on the SD for the first time and replaced clutch and brake fluids. Spent christmas at Airlie beach and Sydney a couple years ago. You've got a great country.

Welcome, cgatfield.
Be sure to check your rear hub. Faulty one diagnosed recently next door to you in BC, so you guys are not immune.
Cheers
