Hi All,

After 10 years of wanting one (test rode on first day of release here in Australia) I've finally bought a Superduke 990.

I was off bikes for about 6 years while cars and other things took my fancy, got back into it on a GSXR 600 last year and sold it the otherday while overseas. 2nd day I was back home I went out and bought a 2008 Superduke in Black with 9000kms. Have ridden it every day I have had free since and love the way it handles compared to all my old bikes, its exactly as I remember.

Can't wait to look through and get some advice on the bike itself and the common mods etc people make to them.

Cheers
Sam

Congratulations on your awesome purchase They sure are a unique machine and loads of fun to ride. I absolutely love mine now and after making a few minor modifications and some additions it feels more like MY bike now. I'm also in Qld (Brisbane). I hope you find this forum as helpful and informative as i have. It has helped me out so many times with info. Enjoy your ride man!!

I'm sure you have put the mirrors on correctly mate, mine are mounted on short extension arms. I found them nearly useless without them and now i can actually see behind me.
