Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought Raven's SD, he got my '97 Duke as part of payment so he's still part of the family. I also own a motarded XR650R & a '01 Suzuki TLS 1000 (for sale).

I loved the Duke/SD's since they were introduced & I've been lusting over an SD for a while now. Obviously I had a couple of questions:

What place in the US has the best prices for frame sliders & passenger seat cover?

He got the oil changed at the 600 mile service. It has over 3k miles now & i'm going to change it again. Gotta go over the manuals on how to do it on this beast. Wait 'til the next oil change before switching to synthetic or do it now?

I went for a 200 mile ride to the mountains today, this bike is gonna get me in trouble & is everything I expected + more. Looking forward to learn as much as I can from this site.
