I am in the process of selling my 08 V-Strom and my spank'n new 08 SD is being loaded on a truck and shipped to me from SoCal. Can't get here soon enough. I got a great deal from 3 Brothers Racing and they were great to work with.

I enjoyed my VStrom (to the tune of 8,000 mile in under a year) but it reminded me of a Toyota...reliable, safe, easy to fix...um...a tad on the boring side.

I had a chance to ride a SD when the demo truck came through our area a week and a half ago. Just thinking about the demo ride puts a grin on my face that makes my jaw hurt. Needless to say, after a week of reading up on the SD and other bikes, the wee strom was on craigs list and the a deposit was down for the SD. Even my buddy who is great about helping you figure out what bike is best for you (as long as its a Triumph) had to acquiesce...

So if you see a guy in northern NY getting off a black SD and immediately clutching his sore jaw upon removing his helmet...that would be me. CAN'T WAIT! Should have a face on me like the joker before the snow flies.

Who knows...might quit my job and follow the geese at that point.
