Hi,
After many years with japanese sportbikes, I've decided to join the Superduke family trading my R1 for a SDR 10'. Bike is definitely a blast to ride, positively surprised on how good it brakes and turns, and still getting used to the engine (fun but indeed quite different from a japanese inline four when trying to go fast on the twisties).

Bike has most of the basic goodies installed (air filter, leo vince slipons, sas removed & gear sensor disconnected, crash protectors, optional master brake cilinder, 40T rear sprocket). Just added myself the reverse gearshift kit (I'm used to having reverse shifting) and G2 0.5 cam throttle, and still in the process of installing a CPR Rottweiler airbox + new remap. (tail tidy and bar end mirrors would be nice but can wait

Got a couple of SDR 1290s. Loving them. Just came back from a 70 day trip with them through 10 countries (and the alps) to Romania and back.

Enjoying this forum greatly.

If anyone's in the region, there are some epic rides out here. I'd love to go for a blast!

Benvingut Roja, welcome Roja!

There are other members with 1290 sdr in Barcelona, did you travel on a 1290SDR during this trip?

Indeed the entire trip was done on two SDRs. One black and one orange. We had tank bags and a medium NorthFace duffel each.

I've heard that there's a group of SDRs in Barna and that they even have a whatsapp group. I was told about it by Marc at the I-Motor Diagonal location, but I still haven't managed to make it in.
