Hello, bought my superduke end of September and put on a new exhaust that I bought myself for Christmas. Just waiting for spring to come around now.

Greetings!
I just received my "new to me" 2007 SD. I sold my Hayabusa 3 years ago, and have been without a bike since then. One of the reasons I sold the Hayabusa (great bike) after owning it for about 5 years, was that it was going to get me killed or thrown in jail. You really had to be breaking the law to have any fun. I had my heart set on a Ducati Monster or Hypermotard, but several Youtube videos had me expand my search to include the Speed Triple, Tuono, and Superduke. I looked at some really poor examples of these, and almost bought a Buell before finding the ad for the low mileage KTM.

I found my Superduke in a neighbouring city, and had my nephew look at it for me, reporting that it was in perfect condition, with only 1870 km. It arrived at my home in my nephew's covered trailer last weekend, and looks better than new! A PC3 and LeoVince exhaust are in place - it sounds great! Too bad I have to wait several months to drive (snow for the next ½ year or so). Time to put all the toys away in Canada.

I'm very happy this forum exists - I couldn't even figure out how to get the damn seat off (didn't want to break anything!).

Cheers,
Jeff

Glad to have you on board Big Fella!
Always good to see a new face.
Hope you get as much out of this forum as I have.
Now on a more important note... 6months in the garage...?
You'll have to start modding her without a test ride

Hey guys. I just put a deposit down on a 2015 super duke and I'm really excited! I've been lurking around this forum gathering info and it's been great so far.

Any advice you can give a soon to be new SD owner?

Thanks!

Buy a Honda also, it appears that your new KTM will be spending months in the shop. You read all the 1290 posts and decided the Canadian bikes are special and aren't built like the rest. Hell, I think that the Canadian bikes are too fast and your soon to be ex-wife will make you get rid of it. Anyway I'm just jealous that you get one, good luck and welcome to the gripe house.
