Hi all, Shane Scott from Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. I'm racing my 2015 KTM Superduke 1290R in the 100th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado, USA. I bought a used bike with a 1000 kms on it, and am currently stripping it down for the race. I'll be racing it at a few local club races at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Nova Scotia in May/June to get a little time on the bike.

It came with a full system Akrapovic. I'm just lightening it up a bit, reworking the suspension and learning how to best tune it for the mountain elevation.

So I'm trying to get info on which is the best tuning product to choose, and how to use it.
I'm also trying to figure out how to get a quick shifter to work with that, and also if there is a blip assist out yet that is proven for this bike.

I'd welcome any assistance from people who have first hand proven race tested info.

Thanks!

Welcome - this is not the place to post questions but - most of us are running dynojet power commanders as a tuning tool. You can also run a dynojet auto tune module if you wish or just dyno tune the bike to suit your needs.
The quick shifter has to cut fuel or fuel and spark. The spark only cut hurts the top end and the 1290's spit valve shims. Dynojet can also supply the quick shifter you seek.
