Just introducing myself on here. I've been reading posts and ads and whatnot for months now, but have only just now actually validated my account and posted. I haven't yet bought the bike yet, but it is in the works. I've owned an 03 R6 (my favorite thus far) as my first bike. I never did it justice and let it go foolishly. I never even tracked it and to this day regret it. It had some sweet squid taillights I put on that had a Knightrider-esque LED motion on it. You could also customize the LED to do a batwing flight pattern. Had the flip up plate under an R6 cutout on the metal. Other stuff too, but those were most evident. SO sad I traded it for the next bike....a 2008 Night Rod Special HD. Yeah, jack of all trades and master of none that bike was. Had a shorty pipe, air ride, autotune, etc. Unfortunately, those drag bars and highway pegs nearly crippled me on my trek from Chicago to St. Petersburg. So, that was the end of that. Popping the clutch at 8,000 rpm at a light is fun for a while, but I had sparks flying off the sides of that bike when I'd ride it because the lean angle was so bad. Those issues, plus a bad fuel gauge (no solution, factory issue), clunky front end, toasted neck bearings, leaky clutch and master cylinders, shock adjustment before passenger riding (add'l $20 wrench the length of your forearm) that necessitated the air ride and I was done. Bought a new old stock 08 CBR1000RR next. Did some stuff to that too, but it was simply not what I wanted. I just didn't want a sport bike riding position anymore if I were to only have one bike in my stable. So, here I am, on the hunt again. Thanks for the great articles and information you've all put up on here.

Also, can anyone tell me why some users, when you select PM, and you fill out the PM and click send generate an automated site response in orange saying "sorry this user does not exist"? Are they banned or something??
