Hello, everyone. I'm a new member from the San Francisco Bay Area. I recently bought the 2008 SD that some of you were roasting..

As I'm new to the club, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a fairly new rider.. about 6 years, but have owned an R6, 07 Duc Monster S4RS, as well as a chinese knockoff of a Ural. It took me a while to pull the trigger on the KTM SD but something about the look of it convinced me to go ahead. As mentioned, I'm fairly new to motorcycles even tho I've owned several. I'm hoping to learn a lot about my new-to-me ride from all of you with your vast knowledge and experience.

I'm looking forward to taking it out for a test ride this weekend and see if there are any issues as I bought it without testing or checking for anything. I still like the overall look, tho some of you have commented on what you think is bad about it. I have no opinion either way other than I have no regrets on the purchase as I can make my own mods (with your help and guidance).
