Hello All

Just picked up my Titanium SD as my first bike from Premier in Didcot last week.

I abso-f*cking-lutely love it.

So much fun.

I have one question - the fuelling, surging glitch is a bit of a pain at around 3-4000 rpm in 1st or 2nd in town. Is there any cure for this? Doug on this forum said that Premier had remapped his bike when he complained, but Premier have told me that all SD's get a remap at their first service as a matter of course.

I am confused! Any advice or guidance molst welcome.

A small thing but it isn't really getting in the way of me enjoying this spectacular machine.

Thanks

Hi Gav, and welcome
I've still got my fuelling glitch, even though I've had my first service.

Some say changing the exhaust system helps, along with a remap.

General opinion seems to be that if the SuperDuke takes off in the States, a Power Commander will be released, which should help enormously.

There are other options, and I'm sure someone more technically minded will be along shortly to help!!!

Otherwise, you'll get used to it - I have

Welcome to the forum

I to bought my SD from Premier. And i too have the fuelling glitch, and the stalling with gentle throttle blips, and the grating starter noise. In fact most owners have had one or some of these symptoms.

Mine has had it's first service, not at Premier but at Sideways near Dorchester, and i wasn't aware of a remap being done. However i did mention the problems to them and they reckon that the remap for the akras, with out the akras fitted, will sort the fuelling?? But i am sure somebody on here advised against it because it will overheat the CAT, so i didn't get it done.

But otherwise, yeah, when your on song and your out on the open road, it's awsome.
