Just bought myself an Superduke R, wasn't really in the market for a new bike but i took one for a test ride & fell in love! any bike that wheelies so easily is after my own heart.
Currently have a 07 Crf250r for dirt, 07 Crf450r for supermoto & 01 Sv650 for road/track duties, at least one of them has to go tho to help pay for the SD!
Bike is 07 SDR, 18000km, Standard apart from Akrapovic end cans & map.
So far have bled the clutch which didn't feel that great but feels a lot better now (quite a few foamy bubble came out during bleeding), still has quite a clunk into first tho but from what i've read on here that seems to be fairly normal?
Pulled off the heated grips that came on it (would be nice in winter but waaay too fat & its only really going to be a track weapon with the odd blast on some twisty roads so i'd rather have the extra feel of a slim grip)
Other than that a really good clean & check of fluids, suspension settings etc.. & have just adjusted controls to where they feel nice.
Future plans are to replace the tyres, have Supercorsa sc1's on the way (use them on my SV and rate them highly), its currently fitted with Dunlop d208rr's & i don't want to offend anyone because there seems to be a lot of Dunlop fans on here but i've never ridden a tyre that spins up & steps out as much as these!!
Anyway have read a lot of good info on here alraedy this week, thanks!
