Hi guys and girls

Had my superduke for about 4 months or so now, its a 06 modal and had a few tasty mods done when I purchased it. I love to mod my bikes and this one will be no different, already bought quite a few bits, my Dna stage 3 airbox turned up today so can't wait to get it fitted and have the bike custom mapped.

Mainly had supermotos in the past, my last being a KTM 660 smc with high lift cam and custom induction putting out 66 bhp, was great fun, but not so good for long rides motorways ect. So that's why I got the duke to get the best of both worlds.

Bike is currently away for winter, cant wait or the sun to come out again.

Hi Guys

Just thought id say hello

Ive just agreed to buy jodys SD so ill be joining the ranks next saturday and im rather bloody excited..

I live in london and was going to buy an early zx10r or K5 1000 but realised prob not the best plan living in central and really not needing 160bhp to chop through central with....

Ive got a TL1000 at the minute and really like the motor so figured a sd would be like a better handling version of that? hope im right!

Ill let you all know what i think once ive collected and thraped it around for a few days

Where in London are you m8? Keep an eye on the Rides section as a few of us regulary head out into Essex to tear it up.

I don't think you will regret the purchase as I still grin like an idiot when I ride mine, 2 &1/2 years after buying it

Hello again

Im off to cornwall to pick it up tomorrow i cant bloody wait!

Ive got fingers crossed for a dry day tomorrow, im based in ealing at the moment so west london but i can scoot round the north circular no worries to essex.

Jody ill def keep an eye on the trackday threads my only issue this summer is going to be work i work in tv and have a shed load of tennis events to work on this summer so its hard for me to commit to dates to far in advance you know?

But ill let you all know on sunday/monday what i think of it.

Rode the Tl1000 to work today and that bike has got a stonking motor but really does handle like a bag of shite!

I am a TL fan sir, I have owned 3 and you might know me from TLZone if you go there. You will love the Super Duke, it is a TL with all the stuff it needed. The Super Duke is a lighter, more powerful TL with better suspension, brakes and riding position. Plus you can get Yoshimura pipes so it sounds better than a TL as well.

Well picked it up and had two little rides so far and it's bloody brilliant! It is as said everything the tl should have been it does sound awesome as well. Handling is so good compared to the tl and the motor is lovely.

New to this forum, stumbled accross this site whilst looking for a SD.
I live in Byfleet, Surrey, and am currently bikeless. 

Previous biked included zx10r, duke 2, zx636 trackbike, etc.

Mainly joined this forum to get myself a tidy SD, but there seems to be a lot of other good information and banter going on, so I'll stick around. Won't actually be able to get another bike for a few months until the re-mortgage of the house is sorted, pain in the a**e if you ask me, but the mrs says so, and she knows best, apparently.

Anyway, see you out there sometime soon.

Edit: very important "apparently" missing
