Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to the SD. I just picked up mine(a 2007) a week ago. Started riding about 7 years ago on a Harley, but have since sold that and now have the SD. It is definitely a different ride, but I am starting to get used to it, or so I think. I look forward to making changes to the bike to make it my own and I will most likely have questions along the way. I have already received some help from this forum and await the chance to learn more about this awesome bike. This seems like a pretty cool forum so far, no drama like a lot of others I've crossed in the past. Keep the shiny side up! Later, Adam

Welcome My cousin and her husband live out by Surprise. From what her husband tells me, it been way to hot for him to ride...110-115 degree days. Don't know how you do it, but hope you're having blast doing it on the Duke. Cheers!

Thanks for the welcomes guys. The temps are just starting to fall now and max out at about 100 lately. It is a little warm if you get caught in traffic, but riding at night is great, so long as you aren't inhaling bugs. Caught one in the eye with my visor left up last night Oh well, it happens. Look forward to possibly running across some fellow SDers out here in the valley of the sun, or anyone that rides for that matter.
