I'm an English transplant in the US, just bought a new 08 SD and wanted to say Hi. I've had my eye on one since they were introduced in Europe, and finally took the plunge and bought one last week. I just finished the break-in period and it's looking pretty good.

I have two other bikes, an 03 FZ1 and a GSXR750. Both great bikes but I'm replacing the Suzuki with the Super Duke. I'm hoping the SD is going to be good for a few track days, but mostly for sport riding in the hills of the Central California coast. Maybe I'll get to see some of you out there.
