Hi All,

I do not mean to offend, I don't own an SD.... so what the hell is he doing on this site you are asking........

I am building a Hybrid and there are some tasty parts on an SD that I would like to use......But I could do with some information.....and this seems to be the best site to get it!

What do you think?

Welcome aboard mate,
Yes, the SuperDuke comes with some pretty handy kit which would go well on a special. One drawback of choosing to use SD running gear would be finding it, unless you strike lucky and find a place breaking a bike that isn't too badly damaged. If you chose to use gear from a more common bike like a Fireblade, R1 or similar you'd have a heap more gear to choose from, but then it wouldn't be anything like as cool.
Good luck with the build, keep us all posted on progress and show lots of photos!

Thank you,

Yes, I dont want to use run of the mill parts, dont mind tracking bits down. I have a set of 06 forks and would like to know what Triples (yokes) will fit them over the years. Are the fork leg spacings the same from 05 up and the stem lengths?

Many thanks
