Hey

I've not quite bought a Superduke yet but am hoping to have that fixed within the next few days as I've been lurking in the market for a while (having decided to finally take the plunge after about 8 years of wanting one!). It'll be the fourth bike in the stable, joining a Kawasaki ZZR1400, Suzuki DR-Z400SM and a Ducati 748.

I've been riding since I was 21 (now 34) and still own most of the bikes I've had previously, with the exception of a GSX-R600 that met an untimely end, and a GSX-R750 which got traded in for the ZZR1400 because trying to go two-up on a gixer isn't very comfortable on long journeys. I'm a member of the London Advanced Motorcyclists IAM group which gives me plenty of people to go on "progressive" rides with, and I'm hoping the 'duke will fill the role of back-road scratcher better than the ZZR which is more about going at silly speeds on less twisty roads.

This forum's already been very useful -- looking forward to reading more about the mods I should be making

And I was sure I would be the only one with an SD and a ZZR1400 in the garage!

Welcome, you will love the SD and this can be an interesting place as well
