How's you all doin'? This looks like a nice place to converse with some fellow biker types.
I'm new to KTM, actually I'm so new I don't even have one yet. I was hoping you guys might persuade me that it's the right bike to have.

I've ridden a few different bikes in the past, my Exup 1000 was my pride and joy for 17 years until an old broken bone in my hand made it impossible to ride sports. So, to upright muscle it turned, my last was a Triumph Speed Triple 1050. Bloody amazing bike and more fun than should be legal, and to be honest most of it wasn't. Unfortunately the thing was so unreliable and left me stranded on several occasions that it put me right off them.
But from the looks of things the Super Duke might be just as much fun with more reliability.

I'm planning on using the SD for commuting, around forty miles round trip, is that sensible?
