I just picked up my 07 on Wednesday and I love it!
Glad to see such a strong support community for this bike! I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot from me. I love wrenchin' on my stuff... and San Francisco has a great KTM dealership here, Scuderia West.

Welcome to a good place, Monkey...I had lived there long ago, daley city, close to the cowbarns, it was when I was 12 yo. cool place that SF,
lots of fog and rain. I think the SD will be well suited to the wet life of yer world.

Yeah, I remember when they added the second set of lanes to 280 on the peninsula. I didn't live here then, but was visiting and remembered thinking to myself, "who the heck needs all of those lanes for driving through the *woods*???" Now it's gridlocked for 5 hours every day. Go figure.

I agree, black is probably faster, but the only thing even *faster* than black is flat/matte black. The anthracite was as close to the matte black as I could get, so I went with that one. I'll have to see if I can get a side-by-side dyno on the two done at the dealership here and get back to you.
