Hello guys,

About a week ago I got a 2008 KTM SD and I am very exited. Its a fun ride, besides the mild engine vibration. Coming from a 07 Honda VFR800 and 03 Honda CBR954, both being 4-cyl engines, the Vtwin is something that I still need to get used to.

Thanks all

Hey man new to the SD as well. I have ridden Buells for years and wanted stupid power so I got rid of them and got a zx10r. A few speeding tickets later I was back on an xb12r. But I guess I just fell out of the lust I once had for em. I couldn't find an 1125cr so I thought hell what about a ktm? Found one and here I am. Very cool bike and pretty rare in SW Missouri. The vibes aren't bad really coming from other v twins I have ridden. Thick grips. Silicone squirted inside the bars. Put lithium grease in first on the metal like a cake pan and fill up with some silicone and that will help the vibes. But the best thing to do is to keep the revs up and she will smooth out.
