O.K. guess I'll throw out my specs.

I am Canadian.... it's Feb. and so that means, I ain't real happy about it. Dam the snow anyways.... won't even get into the minus 30 temps.

I work. Specifically, I work in the oil & gas patch. More specifically, I service, repair and overhaul large engines, pumps and compressors. So actually, I'm a wrench monkey.

I'm not a biker. I'm not a motorcyclist.

I ride. Period.

Been riding for 33-34 years, can't rightly remember exactly. Started in the dirt, raced MX for alota years, got some local sponsership, realised I wasn't gonna land a factory contract, so I just raced for fun until it took more than 3 days to recover from a hard weekend's riding. Sold my CR-500 last year.... stupidest thing I ever done.... well that ain't quite true, but close enough for now.

I've been riding streetbikes since I was 16, except for a 5 year period when I was 30-35. I took myself off the road one night when I was sliding across the road after snapping the headtube off my RD-350LC jumping railway crossings in downtown Edmonton. Figured I'd keep it in the dirt for awhile after that....

I've owned many streetbikes, but never bought a brand new one. A SuperDuke is likely going to be my first new one. All I have to do is convince my banker.... and talk my wife into letting me keep it in the livingroom. The Banker is going to be the harder sell.

And that's about all that matters regarding me....

No nothing to do with Hibernia, I'm afraid.
Actually, I'm not afraid.
Well, yes I am, but I'm afraid of the ocean.

I'm in Alberta, on the bald-ass prairie, several thousand miles from anything like an ocean. And I'm O.K. with that. Even with the fact that all the roads around here are straight, flat, endless dragstrips and the squared off tyres that result from such roads.....

Head-down and ass-up, I can be in the Rocky mountains in about an hour, and on really nice roads in 2, so it's not too, too bad.
