Hello fellow Super Dukers!
I also have an SV650 which I also enjoy very much.
Got This bike in Mankato, MN at Starr-Cycle 507-385-1990. John, Nate, and Sam are awesome! I cant say enough about the patience, respect, and professionalism I was shown during and after the purchase. If you need a bike give these guys a try...Seriously.

Anyway on to the good stuff...

2008 KTM Super Duke 990
4000miles
CRG roll a click levers
FMF Titamium Exhaust and Re-Map ecu
Motovation front and rear axle sliders and upper frame sliders
Has aftermarket mirrors

All these aftermarket parts were on the bike when they got it in stock. I paid $7700. They also sold me the KTM Gel Seat for $100, and are mailing me the KTM tool Kit and owners/Service Manuals along with the seat when it comes in.
I test rode a gsxr1000 and BMW 1000RR also and yes they are powerfull and fast but too much of the trendy "crotch rocket" look for my style, and also uncomfortable riding position for me.
And seriously the SuperDukes insurance is half of what my SV650 costs per year... I couldnt believe it! must be because they are so uncommon and therefore not many wrecks and/or info for the insurance companies to look at...

HEY!! Excellent choice! I have driven your bike! I also purchased mine from Starr Cycle, and those guys are fantastic. I bought mine there in the middle of July, and then a couple of weeks later I brought it back to them for the first service, since I bought it fresh out of the crate. It was going to take a while for the service, so John and Nate told me to take yours out for a spin, so I went around Mankato and then stopped at the Subway across the street to get some food, then went back and drove Nate's 625 SMC around for a little while. It was definitely a nice bike! I really wish I had those slip ons and levers, it was great. I had a SV1000s before the Super Duke, and you'll definitely love it! Hope you enjoy!!
