Hi all,

I'm all new to this KTM business, having been a fan for Suzuki GSXR's for the past 4 years. I really loved my GSXR's but it wasn't until I sold the last 750 that I realised I must have become used to, or even bored with the bike.

So, it took me 2 weeks and I had started to look at more upright rides with an aggressive street fighter look.... and hey I bought myself an 07 Super Duke R - in "SITH" black!

I've just returned from riding it the 30 or so miles home in the freezing cold, ( all my gear is summer stuff - but that's never really stopped me before, I did 4000 miles over Christmas after I passed my test!).

First impressions are - WOW! She's quite an aggressive beast isn't she!? The furious amount of torque just babbling away, waiting to be unleashed is quite something!

After a few miles and some bends, the bike started to feel more normal, which is reassuring after being so low down on the GSXR, it did feel quite odd to be sat so upright into a corner.

Love it, Love it, Love it.

Yoshi cans have been ordered.......

Nice one.

Hey everybody, thank you for the warm welcome!

I'm based in the UK - near the muller dairy for any Brits that know that advert.....

I picked the bike up the other day, and then had to go straight out for a weeks holiday without it.

Ive spent most of the time researching mods I want to get done!

First up is the exhaust, which I understand requires the O2 sensors to be sorted, and an ECU remap ( hear Tune ECU is good for this - easy enough for DIY? )

Second is the HID Projector mod which I think once the reflector is painted black
, will really set the front end off nicely.

Other things include changing the mirrors for some CNC black smaller style ones, and some short reach levers ( again, yes you guessed it - in black! )

Pictures will follow....

Thanks for all the replies, it's nice to be made to feel welcome!

OK, so here she is with the Yoshi cans, and a some artwork applied to the rear section (designed by me on my plotter, as a mock up until the decals are ready from L R Designs).

Also, fitted the LSL drag bars, new grips, fancy orange fluid covers and the CRG Arrow mirrors.

She is coming along!

Rottweiler airbox on order from CPR, so hopefully be able to get that beast on soon.

Hey up Maddog,

Yeah, I cut mine down by 40mm, as I wanted to leave enough to mount the rear view mirrors on the actual bar rather than use the inserts.

Rear sets you say? Hadn't thought about that to be honest, but I will now!

Had a quick blast yesterday to the petrol station and back, but it felt not too different comfort-wise, but looks a lot more aggressive which is what I was going for.

Also just looks better as now the bar is black, rather than the original silver bar.

I love, love, love this bike!
