Another new Texas Owner - 08 SDR with the FMF cannons and CRG bar end mirrors. Picked up at Wild West Honda in Katy, Tx with about 13000 miles on the clock. Put T-Rex spools on the frame and a taller Puig screen (like it!). Put abut 800 miles on it then took a rock or something through the radiator on the I10 commute Waiting on a replaccement and ordered a Cox Screen off Fleabay to protect it. A little high strung at the moment and yes, loud, but its growing on me, probably not the neighbors though. Great handling - came off a BMW R1200S and first gen FZ1 which were both great bikes but way different characters.
I had the dealer put the Akro map on the SDR but I'm not sure its an improvement. Previous map wasn't stock either but he didn't recognize it (Tune ECU??) Airbox mods is probably next after the hobby budget gets a bump! Seat is also an issue but not killing me. Anybody do upholstery work or gel padding on the stock seat with success??
