Best mods at almost no costs (requires open cans though) are removing the SAS and 2nd flies, turn off O2 sensors and load a different map.
Also set up the stock suspension to your weight and style, then you could start spending money on a sticky set of tyres, an open airbox, different levers, pegs and rearset adjusters. Getting faster and you might want different suspension (internals).
