Hi there, been thinking about a SD for a few months now, I love my 2010 (11 reg) CBR1000RR but I have decided that its just not for me anymore, my best mate has a SD with Akra's etc and after a quick blast which turned into 2 hours !!! it just makes so much more sense on the road, so I am going to strip the blade of the £1000's of mods sell the bike and bits and purchase a SDR

Yeah, tell this to all the superbike gotta-have-the-max HP junkies (with bad backs and cramped legs). I can't use 170+ RWHP on the street - can you? I'm pretty sure I can't use that much even on the track .

Yeah, a hundred-and-change is all I need for street sorties of any kind. Keeps me out of jail.

Hope you find a decent SD!

I have been down the same route....Blades are great....but you cannot begin to use them on the road....

I would ride a SDR first.....they are very different to a SD ......more track focused...more top end power but less grunt

was on one like yours last sunday 126-8 in second then shift light comes on wtf much too much for me, suspension felt good compared to my sdr yet me mate complaned of it being harsh, felt realy slow and awkward on the turns, at 6ft2 I had trouble getting my feet on the pegs, missed not seeing over the top of cars and hedges, brakes ok,how can anyone make somthing so fast so smooth, sd is a fun bike when running right and for me has all the umph I need, track days on one are a hoot,
