Hello all. Figured I would join up on the forum after putting several hundred miles on my new to me SD and deciding it is a keeper!

I wont lie, I was looking at a new Ducati Streetfighter. I am something of a sucker for those Ducatis having owned a 848 and a Hypermotard in the past. Then this Superduke slapped me in the face at the local dealership and I realised KTM has been making the bike I wanted for years more than Ducati. So I picked up a 2008 SD with less than 4000 miles on it.

I primarily ride dirt but I have owned several 'street' motorcycles and this is quickly becoming my favorite. Glad I didnt waste a bunch of money on the new Streetfighter.

I live in San Luis Obispo and work in Los Osos. I have noticed 1 other SD in town and I saw a SM990 in town the other day.
