You'll have to take it easy with me, I'm a new rider... and yes I've gone for a new SD... must be mad!

Before you start lecturing me, I know it's a weapon for a first bike but I promise to take it easy - it's gonna scare the living daylights out of me anyway. Taking it very seriously though, got all the gear; leathers, boots, gloves etc and a top of the range Shoei lid.

I talked myself out of going down the Harley Davidson route - don't think I'm old enough to make that lifestyle choice just yet and drew up a shortlist of about 8 bikes. I went to all the dealers and sat on them all and the KTM seemed to have been tailored just for me, it felt so comfy!

I was thinking about changing the car but to be honest I love my Clio so much - it does everything I need and I'd have to spend £20k+ to get something that would make me smile more so decided to go down the motorbike way and think the 990 will do the same for me...
