Had a unique experience this morning. At least I hope it’ll be unique.
Gave a ride to my father-in-law to the hospital where his wife is having heart surgery (so I couldn’t say no). He’s what could only be generously be described as of portly figure.
After barely surviving the being treated like a step ladder during the mounting procedure, probably only saved by parking in the gutter beforehand so I had plenty of purchase on the ground when we nearly tipped, I discovered that the 2 up seat on the bike isn’t designed for the rider and his fat father in law.
Think I can still taste my balls from where they ended up after a half hour of jammage from the tank...

My last two up was on Tuesday, on the back of Jason Pridmore's GSXR1000. The bike is a teaching tool, handle bars are molded into the gas tank and without those I would have fallen off. The lean angles attained, the acceleration and deceleration were incredible. I know someone at the school ( two days ) took a video of the ride, I am just waiting for it to be posted.
For those who don't know, Jason Pridmore's is the son of Reg Pridmorer who in the early 70s won a super bike championship for BMW in the US. He still runs a street orientated riding school.

LOL
I just let my wife ride pillion with me ehehe
And even so I totally agree with the lader feeling, at first she would ride up like if the SD was a stair made of concrete, without even asking and even caught me off guard one time...almost dropped the bike.

My lass always steals my foot pegs, and never fails to make me laugh.

i hardly ever have a passenger, if i do though, i always explain how the whole thing works how to mount dismount, wait for me to say ok etc... no problems so far. that said i have 2 stories.
my Dad never got the motorcycle thing, mom either. in fact most of my family used to lecture me. so one day i stop to see my bro (who also rides...) and my Dad is visiting. now Dad had a lot of problems and at any given moment would not talk to you for years, but this day he was great. so i pull up with my TL1000s as he is leaving. he had parked about a mile down the st and walked to my bro's house. so he just decides all of a sudden after years of lectures he wants a ride, my brother is encouraging him all the way! now Dad weighs like 200lbs and is 70yrs old at this point and just clambers on, no warning, and im on a dirt drive with potholes etc. i dont even have an extra helmet, he says "the hell with it, move!".
so off we go down this long dirt drive hitting the occasional pot hole and i can really feel him way up there and he isnt really holding on either, so i just took it slow back to his car. very odd experience. lets just say i went back and had a little talk with my brother! ive got a pic of it somewhere, my brother was just laughing away!
now maybe 5 years later, the same brother Dan, needs a ride to pick up his van, so i show up with my 784 with a another helmet. now i love my brother but he is one of those guys that will not touch another guy on a motorcycle. so hes sitting back there and he isnt even leaning into me at all and i think he was holding onto the rear footpeg hangers or something, i really dont know but i can feel him all over the place, and i warned him about this. so just to piss him off every time we would come to a light id slow down and the last 5 feet of roll hammer the brake so he'd slam right into me. he was getting so flustered and is yelling at me, and id promise not to do it again but do it every time, it was so funny, im laughing now thinking about it! ah good times, payback, brothers, good stuff... i miss him

I used to give a mate a lift to work some days, he was a trembly little wispy thing, that said he would do all the leaning for me it was great, like having an auto-pilot.
