I'm reading through the workshop manual and it's confused me..

It states in Section 10 page13

Replacing the chain, pinion and rear sprocket
– Unscrew the engine sprocket cover 1, bend up the lock washer 2 and loosen the engine sprocket nut 3.
– Open the chain with a cutting/riveting tool (see page 10-14) and remove the chain.
– Remove the engine sprocket with the lock washer (+ Loctite 243!).
– Slip on a new pinion with a lock washer and screw on the nut.

So does that mean that the sprocket nut has Loctite 243 on it?

Further down that page it states

Tighten the engine sprocket nut to 100 Nm, bend up the lock washer.
– Screw on the engine sprocket cover.
– Adjust the chain tension (see Owner's Manual).

So no mention of applying (or reapplying) Loctite 243?

Parts fiche doesn't refer to 243 as it does for bolts, etc elsewhere.
