My steering damper is shot and apparently it's not serviceable? Anyone know of a replacement that bolts onto the same mounts (under the headstock)?

I'd be interested in the answer to this post. Anyone? Bueler?

Sorry I missed this when it was first posted. Do you have the Powerparts WP adjustable or WP non-adjustable that came stock on some KTM's? I just adapted the Powerparts WP adjustable steering damper to the top side of my '06 990 Super Duke that is normally mounted on the underside of the later 990 SD. My '06 had no provisions for mounting ANY steering damper on it top side or bottom side so I made it fit on the top using the front fuel tank mount and machining a reduction sleeve for the fork mount. The adjustable WP steering damper is nice. Oh and I think there is a rebuild kit from WP for both of the steering dampers and heard the way to rebuild it is to submerge it in a container of shock fluid while rebuilding it to minimize the air trapped in the damper during the process.
