Any recommendation's for a start point hex map before I take my 990SD for a custom map please ?
Also what's the safe rev limit to set to, 9500 or 9750 ?

'10 990 SD. ITG filter, sas blanked, akra headers to 60mm single can.

I used a single can for a while in the days and it doesn't make much difference.
Find a map that suits the rest of your setup as a base and get a proper dyno tune, best $$$ spent ever!

Where in the world are you?
On some maps I've seen 9800 but I always set rev limit to 9500.

UK
It'll be having a custom map. 2 actually, the single can is more a style thing. There wont be a chance in hell I'll get that below 105Db for uk tracks, so it'll get one done for the twin akra setup too at the same time.
Just want a better start point than standard, don't want it going bang first run on the dyno !
If no one has one I'll go for 'smoothed Akros' as that seems popular.
