So I've had my SD for 2 weeks now and the other day I spotted that it's fitted with a gear change reversing linkage. So I'm wondering if I should flick it over to swap the gear change to 1 up and the rest down...I've not ridden a bike with a flipped change order before...

What would you do?

Are you planning to ride on track? It's there it really makes most sense. It allows you to gear change up with the bike on it's side, without unsettling the bike with the big foot movement it requires in normal shift pattern. It does take a little getting used to and you'll fook it up a few times till the muscle memory kicks in. Personally I much prefer it. Just seems to make more sense to tap down on the lever to go faster.

Yeah i totally get the concept and like you say Colonel I bet it's easy to cock it up. I don't plan on any track riding soon but I can see the advantage of gear changing in corners.

It looks in a bit better condition than that to be honest
