This is the first bike I've had with radial front brakes.
With all other bikes the procedure is roughly the same. Lock the axle in on the fixed side, bounce the forks to allow them to centre properly on the axle (to align), then tighten the pinch bolts to lock this position.
This is also what I have done on my SD990 and is as detailed in the Repair Manual, however the owners manual differs a little, see the below;
Take the motorcycle off the front stand, actuate the front wheel brake and vigorously compress the fork several times to align the fork legs.
Before you tighten the clamp screws [3] check whether the right brake disk [C] runs in the center of the brake caliper.
Move the right fork leg to the side if necessary, then tighten the clamp screws on both fork leg axle passages to 15 Nm.
This sounds odd as it's possibly forcing the forks out of true.
What is the point in doing the bounce to settle the forks if you're going to force a final position anyway?
I've just checked mine (put the wheel in yesterday) and sure enough the disk is not central through the RHS caliper. It's probably 1-2mm off center - would you adjust this or leave as is?
I'm tempted to leave as is as it's not fouling the caliper and the forks must be happier this way.

Leave it as it is.
