Wondering if I was the only one nuts enough to ride home in Brisbane last night?
The SD showed it's Adventure roots, and did an admirable job. Multiple flooded road crossings, the deepest of which was bottom of tank deep. Bloody coppers closing the main road in multiple places and directing people DOWNhill onto waist deep side streets!
Parked up for 15 minutes on the platform at North Boondall train station (everything else was underwater) to assess after a particularly deep one, but managed to sneak home to Redcliffe eventually.
Wish I'd had the GoPro attached. The occasional bow wave over the instrument cluster would have been an eye opener!!

From the look of it on tv it was pretty epic!
Stay safe there! People do stupid things to get home but not worth dying for.

Yeah, that was a hell of a lot of water.
'People do stupid things to get home but not worth dying for.'
I can second that. Saw some damn stupid antics. Plenty of bad advice available from random people as well. Just what you want to hear when your boots, pants and jacket are overflowing...

hehehee. Probably a similar depth. I was thinking to myself at the time, 'I'm glad she's a tall beastie, the old Monster would most certainly have drowned'
