Are O2 resistors better than just unticking O2's?

So I've had the SDR for about a week and my compulsive need to mess with stuff is already kicking in. Absolutely love the bike, but would like to improve the famous SD jerkiness when trying to ride on a steady throttle. So I've ordered a TuneECU cable and some SAS block off plates from Rottweiler. From my research it sounds like there is a huge improvement in jerkiness if the O2 sensors are out of the picture? So my question is are the O2 resistor plugs from Rottweiler, Power Commander or home made any better than just unchecking O2's in tuneECU? Thanks!

No.

Same applies for the "block off plates".

Wow there is a lot of info in that thread. So has anyone turned off the O2's and had a problem? I guess I would fall on the side of if it makes the bike ride better in the real world then do it, but I certainly don't want to damage anything.
