4 days 1100 miles with temps from 59'F to 87'F a little rain, lots of sun and the SD didn't miss a beat once. The ride to and from Indianapolis is boring and frustrating at the same time. Long straight interstate highway punctuated with miles of construction can sure make a trip into a chore, but once that parts over the fun begins. The SD was perfect for the trip, previously I have done the same route on a Ducati Supersport and a Kawasaki ZX10R. Both fun bikes to ride in their element, but the roads of Indianapolis are basically off road skills courses rather than smooth tarmac. I saw two other SD's while there, one with a Wisconsin plate and the other accompanied by an SMT. I never got a chance to meet the owners but hopefully they are on here to chime in.
Love the SD and its ability to do everything.

Incidentally average MPG was 37.94, highway speeds up to 90mph for long stretches. I'm impressed...
