I was driving home my battery light came on, which is weird since I just replaced it. Then my headlight went out which really sucked as it was still a little dark out but I was 8 miles from my exit so I wanted to get home. Then my had light came on and bike started losing some power I got off the exit bike started acting like it wanted to stall, then it just shit down, and my F1 light came on, now it won't even attempt to start or even turn over, all the lights come on and there is an ass load of oil the left side of my bike I looked and found that my oil tube cracked... Now my biggest fear is did all my oil leak out on my ride home and now my engine is fooked?!?!? I walked it to a parking lot and I am having someone pick me up has this happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance

Not sure about all your electrical issues. Try the usual things if your battery proves to be OK. Clean the Big Grey Connector, (search threads on here).

I don't think you should worry about the engine if the leak is just from the sight tube. The tube is right at the top of the header tank so if oil is leaking there then there is still loads of oil in your engine.

Hope things work out. They are usually never as bad as they seem when you break down out on the road.

Maybe - but that usually shows as an 31 error code on the dash.

I would also check the multiway connectors behind the headlight mask, which are easy to get to by undoing the two allen headed bolts in front of the handlebars. Make sure both sexes of each connection are properly mated, and ideally disconnect, clean and pack with dielectric grease. Also check the state of the cables and make sure non of them are kinked, snagged or have exposed conductors.

Secondly check the earth bonding point on the right hand side of the engine, and make sure it's not loose.

Okay well a little update, I don't think I fooked the engine up as it was leaking more oil when I went to pick it up today, and there is still some showing in the tube (thank god)... I have been searching the forums about this Reg/rec I will do some testing on it once the battery is charged... I'm thinking this may be it since this is a BRAND NEW, replaced it 4 days ago its the Yussa (stock), battery like seriously this was the first longish ride I took it on, lets say 30 miles each way and it died and wouldn't start up again.

Just had, yet again, this problem - exacerbated by watching my wired in voltmeter slowly drop over circa 25 miles until bike dying half a mile from home - battery warning light only came on shortly before - fiver says it's the reg/rec but it could simply be a duff battery (unlikely if it's a new Yuasa) or broken battery, earth or reg/rec wiring.
