Bike range.....07 tank needed

With the kind help of No47 TPS and O2 sensors are now off, and the bike runs much better, faster.....

The fuel reserve light now comes on after 55 miles, and so that gives a range of around 80 miles! My mates should find it frustrating this summer when we are on the euro tour! Watching me fill up every 5 minutes.

So, on the hunt for an 07 onward, tank asap! Thanks!

My '07 SD has all the mods you would expect and get about 100 miles before the reserve light comes on. Then I can do at least 25 miles on reserve without worrying I'm going to run dry. 55 miles to a tank seems very bad, it's not the size of the tank, it's maybe your fuelling?

Yep, could be. Its 55 miles when the light comes on, so about 80/85 for the tank incl reserve. Is this still low for the smaller tank?

I have an '05 with Akra slip-ons but no other engine mods that I'm aware of, and I don't know what map its running. Fuel light comes on at 75 miles pretty much every time and the most I've managed is 100 miles... but I was ready to end up pushing it at any moment. Constant source of hilarity for my friends when I have to pull in and refuel at least twice as often as them. Whatever - my bike is still more bad ass.

My 05, usually does around 110km's per tank plus reserve.

I don't wait too long to fill up again so 130km's has been the most I've seen from it without pushing it

But on speed trips with friends it may become shorter stops lol

If you cant find a bigger tank, change your riding mates. I ride with a RSV4, V4 Tuono and Ducati 749S and 848. They all need to fill up around the 80 mile mark too.
