so i am sure i am not the only one who has noticed but of late our no nonsense forum has had far too much nonsense it seems between some with orignal SDs and some of the ones with the latest SD, all i can say is we are all enjoying our mandlebar bikes and fixing issues that have come with the original ones and also the latest ones and that both versiones have had the good and the bad points

its friday we should be planning that sunday run through the hills or that track day with our mandlebar bikes in search of corners or tracks with short straights, enjoy what we have and get on with enjoying what you have and if not get shut and try something else

Nothing unusual I have seen it happen for years with different brands . I remember back when KTM had their first fuel injection the carby guys would justify why their carby bikes are better and FI is pure shit .
I have been riding Ducati's as well and seeing the 999 guys go into a hate frenzy on the 1098 now the 1098 guys hate the 1199 bikes .
People are always going to justify why they should hang onto out of date bikes

I'm pretty certain my SD990R is not better than the 1290R. Probably not even close. But it provides me with more thrills than I can handle at the mo so whilst I'm happy, I'll be keeping it and will be for sure enjoying some twists this weekend.
