Punctured my rad in a crash, was thinking I might try and find somewhere to have a custom more efficient one made.

Anybody got any experience or ideas ?

Been looking on eBay for a standard on as well but no luck

When I crashed, I managed to bugger the rad neck and cap, bought a new rad cap and took my rad to a repair place here in my town, the guys replaced the neck and told me that if need it be, they could make a new one for me, so yeah, I think a reputable shop can make a new one for at least half the price of the original

More efficient radiators are nice...I've got a HRC monstrosity on my 1000RR and she runs 160 degrees on the track versus 220 on nearly every other bike I've had on track. Perhaps you could get one that eliminates the need for burping as well.

Pretty sure its air in the top of the engine block that is the problem. Such a pain in the arse to get it all out.

It's air trapped in the cylinder heads.

I always thought it was air in the hose on the left side just under the tank.
