Dampened Primary Sprocket

I'm overdue for a sprocket / chain set - 24k miles on the original set came with bike. Starting to act funny and stretch is longer than spec.

I've only known the dampened front sprocket and it's a 16t. I'm contemplating going to a 520 setup but doesn't seem there's a dampened sprocket available for 520 . Also contemplating using the Sidewinder titanium sprocket ( lifetime guarantee ) - called Sidewinder they in fact do make a 520 set for the superduke.

I'm just wondering what difference if any i can expect if i end up without the dampened front sprocket , some kind of noticeable difference ?

i don't suppose a stock dampened front sprocket will actually work with a 520 chain ?

cheers

I was told its just damped for noise suppression, I've just changed mine to a none dampened one, no difference.
