I'm prepping to install the MH box, RC8 stacks, remove the flies etc.
I am pretty sure that my painstaking end of season maintenance routine (park it up, leave it) means there's still most of a tankful in there, what's the easiest way to drain it?
I'm guessing maybe disconnect the line where it runs into the airbox, but thought I would ask before I needlessly cover the whole bike, the garage and myself with fuel because I'm too dumb to spot the easier option
Any help much appreciated, cheers all!

If you cannot directly syphon as you have no tube, there is a connecter on the left side of the engine by the airbox. Unplug and will slowly piss out.

Syphon is the way dubs - the fuel pump will only run for a five second burst when you switch the ignition on before shutting off and fuel stops coming out of the quick release. We learnt this trying to drain ronins tank at cadwell when we thought some water may have got into the tank!

I have a spare pair of QR connectors which you'e welcome to borrow - plug the spare throttle body side connector into the fuel tank side and flick the kill switch on and off 'til the fuel is pumped out of the tank into a container.

The tank isn't all that heavy when loaded with fuel. Unbolt and lift off.

Only need to drain the tank when you want to work on the pump.
The quick connect doesn't leak when you separate it.
Unless it's full to the brim don't bother draining some out.
Take it for a spin as suggested above instead...
