I Went to the track on Sunday and wow is all I can say. My SD really amazed me. Fast, turned well, brakes were awesome. Not bad. I was running Dunlop GPA's (33/23 psi hot) and they did the business. I could not believe how quickly and easily the thing changes direction. I also had installed the race rotors and EBC race pads. WOW! I had way more brake than stock. This thing is a wonderful track toy. I had no dragging issues (except my knees and that was ok).
The odd thing was on the track I would get an MTC failure, ABS failure and a check engine light. If I pulled off and cycled the ignition, it immediately cleared. I talked to a KTM mechanic at the track and he said it could be a map glitch. I will find out soon, I guess. The bike ran fine the TC and ABS continues to work fine. I did not have this issue on the street.
Anyway, the other thing was the speed and acceleration was awesome. I was getting places much faster. Going down the front straight there was a 30mph headwind and if you didn't stay tucked it would carry the front wheel all the way down the straight. Power is awesome to have on the racetrack. Woo Hoo!

Hi Doug. I've done three track days and haven't had that tc/abs glitch that you experienced. Maybe just reloading the map would cure it. It is brilliant fun on the track.
