Where can I get the Gilles Ti axle nut KTM Twin's no longer list's them on there site,,,they seem to be the only nut that will work with the ZipTye axle and adjuster block's,,,need's to be a "slim" profile nut as the axle is 3-4 mm shorter than the stocker,,,,,

Hi. This was the set up that i have been looking for. Did you get it from ktm twins? Is this a US company only? They dont seem to have international shipping

Anyone know if i can get this from the UK?

I talked to Ron at KTM Twin's about the axle nut,,seem's the Zip-Tye axle is 3-4 mm shorter than the stocker as the blocks are thicker, which means the stock axle nut is too "wide" and would leave threads exposed,,so Ron found a supplier of a "narrow" axle nut to aleviate this problem,,when he gets them in he's going to make sure fit up is correct, then send my order on to me, if not , another will be tried,,,they do international shipping on the Zip-Tye kit ,,, the block's are stronger than the stockers that can split,,,nice kit really,,,stronger axle with pull,,,,,and once the axle nut is deemed correct ,it will be offered on the Twin's site,,,

another choice from Twins are these axle block's,,,however they are on "back order"

CJ Designs also have an axle block kit

Again, how often does that happen? And even if it did how would it strand you? The piece would have to fall apart and you have the lateral tension from the axel nut to hold it all together.
I wouldn't worry about it...

I want a set of better made adjusters just for the accuracy of adjustment, not strength. And because the aftermarket parts have a level of engineering that is just not there on the OE KTM parts. (Obviously running out of improvement mods to do on this bike - it's been nearly 6 years of continual tinkering - I'm scraping the barrel now. )

that i understand but to do it for fear of failure is unfounded i would think.

I bet $100 that busted adjuster is from an KTM Adventure 950 / 990, and not off a SuperDuke.

I saw CDJ 2 wheel drive LC8 Adventure last year at the KTM Rally in Bend Oregon.

It's a frikin' tank.

Designs look top notch, but bling bling for SD.

But as we all know, it's your own personal bike.
