I've had this bike for almost 2 years in November. I've spent a good bit of time fixing the lack of maintenance and damages the previous owner did to my bike. Ripped and burned seat, no mirrors or turn signals, no working brake light (he still rode it like this anyhow), badly done gutted cat with exhaust leaks at every port, and no oil change in 3 years, or chain cleaned in who knows how long. Etc.. it was rough. Once I did all of this and replaced missing tank fairings, etc... And a few mods I got invited to Highland,NC and let me tell you. This things nuts.

So I was invited up with 11 guys. 3 of which have 20+ years or motorcycle road racing. I was the only guy on sport touring tyres (Pirelli Angle GTs) and I was 4th fastest. I mean I was riding harder then I ever have. Having a blast and touching pegs a few times. Just ripping.

I always knew and heard this bike was great in the twisties. And I wasn't let down. My buddy chased me on his cbr600 and another on Speed Triple and couldn't keep up. Had a blast and looking forward to going back up again for more riding in North GA, SC, and NC.
