OK, I'll bite...what is "THE" tyre for the street? Like asking correct tyre pressure, nitrogen or compressed atmosphere, lead weights or DynaBeads, straight, 45 or 90 degree stems....

I didn't try the Pures because I found the Racetecs and bloody love them! Pilot Power 2CT are a great street tyre and great on track too.

Thanks guys...was just looking for blood in the forum waters. Previous experience is as several posted...what works for you is the best tyre.

You would be surprised at how folks react to certain topics on some of these forums. Like I said...testing the waters. Certainly understand someone having a preference/dislike for a product or service and explaining why/when/where, but it is refreshing to not see keyboard rambo name calling, debate as to which run flat car tyre is best and whether to run the front mounted bias in the reverse direction for longevity. New to me bike has fairly fresh BT016 tyres...seat of the pants review says they will work fine for my level of twisty road riding.
