I posted earlier this week about my fuel disconnect leaking. As always you guys chimed in and pointed me in the right direction. (Replacing the junk CPC connector) I didn't listen and just ordered a few new orings. Well, that didn't fix it!
Damn it! I want to ride so badly!
SD as it sits now.
New k&n air filter and oil change. Hasn't moved since last week.

Get some better fuel connectors from a boat shop or so, I believe Nerd had a good source, trawl trough his posts with the search button.
While your at it order one of these CPR rotweiler or and MH airbox and get rid of that ugly shoebox under the tank!

I know I know! I'm actually thinking since its apart I'll do the SAS removal at the very least. Airbox is next on my list. I had a lot of extra revzilla points so the k&n didn't cost me anything. Well, I guess it cost my savings price matching the cans.
Too easy to spend money having fun. Shame on you for encouraging me to spend more on fun stuff
I'm going to look at airboxes right now. I also want the crg arrow mirrors so, might as well get those while I'm at it.
Still bummed I have to drive the death trap truck to work for another week. I feel so caged in driving it since I've had the bike.

Shitty deal having to look at the bike all weekend and not be able to ride it.
Here are the part numbers nerd supplied me with for the Jiffy parts if you want to go that route:
"Qty. 1 JT21505 Socket 5/16" Barbed End (-5 AN)
Qty. 1 JT22505 Plug 5/16" Barbed End (-5 AN)"
and here's what they look like in person:
I just googled the part number and purchased them off Amazon: and
Don't listen to KTMguy, I heard he can't even wheelie

Those are badass! I'm going to order them now. I was just about to order the chrome plated brass CPC fitting. Its identical to our stock unit from beemerboneyard.
This is way better. Thank you!
Just to be certain I'd like to ask another question.
Will these work too? They look like they are the same as what you posted.
Will I need some extra fuel line to fit this? This has two for not much more than the one you posted. Spares are always a good idea.

Ha, good point. Must be loosing my mind. Just ordered the BMW dual set. I don't mind having another one laying around. Even if its just for the extra oring.
Or, I'll just throw it on my dirt bike if I ever feel the need.
Thanks again for the help guys! Eventually I'll start learning enough about this thing to start contributing to others that may have issues.
